Sona is a teacher of painting class. She is a former student of the studio-college in National Center of Aesthetics (painting and ceramics classes). Sona has graduated from the Faculty of Fine Arts of Open University after L.Kalashyan.
As s student Sona took part in various international art workshops and syposiums, as well as in various projects in NCA with the works of her pupils. Some of them: "Region" (2007), "Changes through exchanges" (2007), "Art and Politics" (2007), "Art Marketing " (2007), "Gender trouble" (2008).

"I started my career from the work with children and during these years formed the delicate creative strings of my spirit. Simple and naive feelings of small artists helps to identify the sources of art. This is most prominent in a case of the work with children with different types and degrees of disability. More than 6 years, since the student times, I have been working with small artists and as a result of this reliable cooperation various interesting projects were emerged.

As an artist, I sometimes work in the field of contemporary art, expressing my observations on cultural images and political realities through visual art tools (photo and video installations)."
