Feast Day of St. Sarkis the Warrior
"The Invincible Power of Love" 2013

On January 26, 2013 at the Children’s art museum of Yerevan Araratian Patriarchal Diocese and National Center of Aesthetics organized the exhibition dedicated to the Feast Day of St. Sarkis the Warrior titled "The invincible power of love".

The Prime Minister of RA Tigran Sargsyan congratulated those present on the occasion of St. Sarkis: "Every year these festivities are getting more and more popular and attended thanks to Araratian Patriarchal Diocese initiative. I am delighted that St. Sarkis holiday regains its popularity as a national tradition and is getting more and more widespread in Armenia".

Ecclesiastic of "Ararat" Spiritual Union Fr. Hakob Khachatrian said that everyone praises God and asks for St.Sarkis intercession variously – some by singing or dancing while others, as proves today's exhibition, by painting.

Director of the National Center of Aesthetics Levon Igityan emphasized that the exhibition "The invincible power of love" represents the works of children aged between 4 and 15.

"We don’t teach our children to paint but try to reveal their talents and today exhibition reflects their vision of St. Sarkis the Warrior'', he said.
