EXHIBITION FROM NERKIN GETASHEN VILLAGE, GEGHARKUNIK PROVINCE Opening March 13, 2013, 3:00 PM Children's Art Museum 13 Abovyan Str., Yerevan, Armenia The National Center of Aesthetics is pleased to invite you to the opening of children’s art works exhibition by Nerqin Getashen village Fine Arts Group (Gegharkunik Province).

The exhibition will present more than 150 works which is the result of the last 9 years of their activity.

The group of Fine Arts is leaded by the artist Nektar Sahakyan.

Her pupils were actively involved in various exhibitions and international competitions (Egypt, Romania, India, Poland, Russia, etc.).

The Ministry of Education and Science of the RA has initiated the forth Pan-Armenian Children's Paintings Competition-Festival in 2013 titled "Spirit born in Armenian highland".

The aims of Competition-Festival are to encourage children and teenagers to improve knowledge in Armenian geography and culture, to promote Armenian children's awareness about the Armenian highland as a fatherland of all the Armenian people, as well as cultural diversity and aesthetic comprehension of the links between nature and culture.

The works submission deadline for the first phase is June 9, 2013.

On January 26 at the Children’s art museum Araratian Patriarchal Diocese and National center of aesthetics were organized the exhibition dedicated to the Feast Day of St. Sargis the Warrior.

Referred to as "Invincible power of love" the National Aesthetics Center’s exposition presented the works of the studio-college students.

The exhibition will remain open until February 12.

On January 8th, after the Christmas holidays, the Children's Art Museum has opened its doors again for the little visitors.

This time NCA pupils presented the masks, made ​​of different materials - clay, paper; created by metal wire and paper objects, as well as paintings and various mixed media compositions.

Exhibition will be open until January 25th.

Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Armenian and National Center of Aesthetics are pleased to announce the list of the winners of the “Love the colors of a poet” third Pan-Armenian children’s painting competition-festival. "The Armenian State at 5000 and 20". The second Pan-Armenian Children's Paintings Competition-Festival in 2011 titled "The Armenian State at 5000 and 20" and organized by the Ministry of Education and Science of the RA and National Center of Aesthetics has entered a second phase.

Over 1000 art-works from Diaspora 18 countries (USA, Argentina, Belarus, Belgium, Bulgaria, Turkey, Spain, Iran, Lebanon, China, Romania, Russia, Syria, Uzbekistan, Ukraine, Uruguay, France, Kuwait), as well as from Artsakh and Armenia were represented in this competition.

243 paintings were chosen for the exhibition. Moreover, for a month (September 1st - October 1st, 2011) an Internet exhibition will take place. Below is the link of Facebook where selected paintings for the second phase are placed in.

You can vote for your favorite picture by clicking on "like" button. Voting will take place from September 1st till October 1st, 2011 at 12PM.

The Competition-Festival aims to encourage children's creativity and patriotic upbringing in the Diaspora, to find talented children and to promote Armenian children's awareness of their National History as well as their interest in the fine arts.

On 25 and 26 of June, 2011 "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" performance based on Richard Bach's novella will take place at the "Small theatre" of the National Center of Aesthetics. Participants of the performance are young actors of the theatre. The premiere performance of "Jonathan Livingstone Seagull" took place in March, 2011.
