Gyumri branch of NCA

Gyumri branch of the National Center of Aesthetics was founded in 1978 by art historian and founder of NCA Henrik Igityan, with the support of Robert Arzumanyan and professor and member of Armenian Artists’ Union Susanna Mkrtchyan, who is the director of the branch.

In 1983 Gyumri branch was included in the structure of NCA.

Gyumri branch is located in the city center оf Gyumri. Art teachers who work there are professionals and have higher education in arts. More than 32 years various groups about 300-400 students (from 3 to 18 years old) not only from Gyumri city, but from its neighbor villages and regions attend art classes there.

The main goal of the Gyumri branch is to inspire love for beauty and develop their aesthetical taste.  

Different projects and art works of children and teenagers from Gyumri branch have been involved in many local and international exhibitions and have been awarded with certificates of honors.
